This is one of 2 juvenile Red-tailed Hawk fledglings in my neighbourhood. They are just starting to learn the ropes of being out in the wild, including how to hunt for prey. So far, it's been a pleasure to watch them grow and mature.
I took this picture because of the way the sun was shining on the back of the bird. I think it turned out pretty cool.
